General Information

Payment Types All payments must be made in U.S. currency. We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Google Checkout, and PayPal. We also accept payment by money order and certified check. When paying by money order, certified check or with a PayPal account that is linked to a checking account (known as a PayPal e-check) please note that shipment of the products will not be made until your payment is received and verified. Also, please note that PayPal e-checks generally take 3 to 4 days to verify. Accordingly, we cannot accommodate requests for expedited shipments for orders paid via money orders, certified checks or with PayPal e-checks.

Sales Tax
We don't collect sales or use taxes in all states. For states imposing sales or use taxes, your purchase is subject to use tax unless it's specifically exempt from taxation. Your purchase isn't exempt merely because it is made over the Internet or by other remote means. Many states require purchasers to file a sales/use tax return at the end of the year reporting all of the taxable purchases that were not taxed and to pay tax on those purchases. Details of how to file these returns may be found at the websites of your respective taxing authorities.

Customers purchasing from shop.GOLF.com and shipping to North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Utah, or Vermont:

North Carolina State law requires us to charge sales tax for all shipments made to North Carolina. Sales taxes of 6.75% are charged for all shipments made to locations within North Carolina. Shipments made to certain counties and municipalities may be subject to additional sales taxes; for example - shipments to Mecklenburg County, North Carolina bear an additional .5% sales tax charge.

Utah State law requires us to charge sales tax for all shipments made to Utah. The current sales tax rate for the State of Utah is 4.70%. Certain cities, counties and other municipalities charge an additional tax; accordingly, sales taxes will be charged on all orders based on the tax jurisdiction of the destination within the state of Utah.

Oklahoma Tax may be reported and paid on the Oklahoma individual income tax return [Form 511] or by filing a consumer use tax return [Form 21-1]. The referenced forms and corresponding instructions are available on the Oklahoma Tax Commission website. State law does not require us to charge sales tax for shipments to Oklahoma. We are required to provide the notice above for Oklahoma purchases based on Oklahoma law (HB 2359) enacted in June 2010.

South Dakota Tax may be reported and paid on the South Dakota use tax form. The use tax form and corresponding instructions are available on the South Dakota Department of Revenue website. State law does not require us to charge sales tax for shipments to South Dakota. We are required to provide the notice above for South Dakota purchases based on South Dakota law (SB 146) enacted in April 2011.

Vermont Tax may be reported and paid on the Vermont use tax form. The use tax form and corresponding instructions are available on the Vermont department of taxes website. State law does not require us to charge sales tax for shipments to Vermont. We are required to provide the notice above for Vermont purchases based on Vermont law (H 436) enacted in May 2011.

Sales taxes are not charged on sales of gift certificates; although, for any purchase made where gift certificates are used as tender, sales taxes will be charged if the products are shipped to North Carolina or Utah.

Tracking Your Order
Once you complete the check-out process, you will receive an order confirmation with your order number, detail information about the products that you ordered and certain additional instructions. Once we have received and verified your payment, your order will be processed. Please remember to add the email address customerservice@shop.GOLF.com to your safe senders list to ensure that you will receive all confirmation emails from us. Your confirmation will include your order number and a link to our Order Tracking Page. Once your order is shipped, you will be supplied with a carrier tracking number. You may then track the progress of the shipment of your order any time at the carrier website. Please allow 3 to 4 hours before this information is updated on the carrier's site. Also, please note that we cannot provide tracking information for Military APO/FPO shipments as these items are shipped via the U.S. Postal Service.

Manufacturer Drop Shipments
Occasionally, we may be temporarily out of stock or do not carry in our inventory certain items that you may wish to purchase. If we do not have a particular new in-line item in our inventory, we will request a drop shipment be made directly to you from the manufacturer. When the order is confirmed with the manufacturer, you will be sent a shipping confirmation via email. Please note that not all manufacturers provide tracking numbers on shipments sent directly from the manufacturer to the customer.

Payment Verification
Please note that for your protection, our checkout system verifies credit card billing information and address information. This information must exactly match the information on file with your credit card company to process. As an extra protection for all international customers, we may request a copy of your credit card statement for verification purposes. Please note that if questions arise during the verification process, we may encounter delays in processing your order.

If your bank does hold you liable for any portion of this $50.00, shop.GOLF.com will cover this entire liability for you, up to the full $50.00. We will cover this liability if the unauthorized use of your credit card resulted through no fault of your own from purchases made from our secure server.

Shipping Problems
If you have a problem with your shipment, such as delivery or damage issues, please call our customer service team as soon as possible at 866-835-1593. While shipping issues are rare, they do occur. When you call customer service, please have your order number available. If your shipment arrives damaged, if possible, please do not open the box or remove any of the packing materials or the contents. Call us as soon as possible with your order number and we will process a damage claim with our carrier. We will then give you additional guidance regarding replacement items. We will ship replacement items to you after the damage claim has been processed with our shipping carrier. You may be required to sign a verification of the damage or loss.

On select products, we are proud to offer a 30-Day Playability Guarantee which allows you the opportunity to return your club, if for any reason you are not happy with its performance. Just look for the 30-Day Playability icon on the product page to determine if the club you have selected is eligible for this offer.

Terms and Conditions

  • Offer applies only to certain products that qualify for the 30-Day Playability Guarantee.
  • Club must exhibit only normal wear, and cannot be altered in any way including, but not limited to grip or shaft changes.
  • Return shipping and associated costs are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Store credits will be issued for the product purchase price (and any applicable sales tax) only. Original shipping charges are not refundable and any shipping discounts initially received on the original purchase will be charged to customer and reduced from the final value of the store credit issued for any returned items.
  • All parts, accessories, literature, tools, and headcovers (if applicable) must be returned with the product to receive full product credit.
  • Not valid for any custom club order.
  • 30-Day Playability Guarantee returns are eligible for store credit only. No cash refunds will be made.
  • The return must be submitted either by phone or electronically within 30 days of the original date of purchase. Any returns submitted after the 30-day period, will be considered preowned and will receive store credit based on the preowned trade-in value of the club at the time of receipt.
  • shop.GOLF.com reserves the right to alter or rescind the 30-Day Playability Guarantee at any time.

30-Day Playability Guarantee Return Directions
If you purchase a product that qualifies for the 30-Day Playability Guarantee and wish to return the product for any reason within the thirty-day period following your purchase, just follow the simple steps below to exchange it or receive store credit.

  1. Call our customer service toll free at 866-835-1593 to begin the 30-Day Playability return process.
  2. State that you would like to return your item by taking advantage of the 30-Day Playability Guarantee offer. Our customer service personnel will issue a Return Authorization number and send you an email with a product return form to send with the item back to our facility.
  3. Once your return is inspected and processed, typically within 15 days of receipt, we will issue the appropriate credit.
