The Nike VR_S Covert Driver features a revolutionary design that makes it the world's first USGA-approved cavity-back driver. The cavity design removes the back middle section of the sole to create a slightly higher MOI with more stability. The CG is slightly more forward for a more penetrating ball flight. By placing more mass in the heel and toe areas, the Covert driver resists twisting on off-center hits for straighter ball flight. The Covert also features FlexLoft technology, which lets you adjust the loft and face angle independently of each other for optimal performance. The loft can be adjusted from 8.5 to 12.5 degrees in 1 degree increments, while the face angle provides closed (left), neutral (square) and right (open) settings. The driver's NexCOR technology expands the sweet spot by making the edges of the face extremely thin, which in turn creates faster balls speeds across a wider area of the face.
